On September 5, we welcomed new members to the TVLC family. Meet some of them below.
Ashley and Sam Barbara and Carter
Ashley and Sam were born and raised in Tucson. Their son Carter is 2 years old and has made plans to attend the TVLC Preschool next year.
Ashley is the Development Director for Arizona’s Children Association and Sam is a courier for FedEx.
Ashley and Sam love to travel and spend time with family. Carter enjoys swimming and spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.
Suellen and Norm Buls
Suellen and Norm moved to Tucson in 1994.
Suellen and Norm are retired. Suellen was a Senior Attorney with the Office of Disability Review of the Social Security Administration. Norm was a Federal Administrative Judge.
Suellen enjoys reading fiction and watching her grandchildren’s activities. Norm loves to golf.
Sara and Ryan Dunham and Olivia
Sara and Ryan have lived in Tucson for six years. They are originally from San Diego.
Sara is at home with Olivia, who is 4 years old. Ryan is a Sales and Service Director for GEICO.
Sara and Ryan enjoy doing family activities with Olivia. They also like to travel and visit family and friends. Olivia enjoys swim and dance classes and loves to act and perform.
Nicolette Farley
Nicolette and her husband, Rick Kiolbasa, moved to Tucson in 2019 from Omaha, NE. They have 2 adult children.
Nic is employed at the Tucson VA Healthcare System as a Facility Manager and Rick is a self-employed land developer.
Nic and Rick love to travel and spend time with friends. They enjoy gardening and working on home improvement projects.
Maury Johnson
Maury moved to Tucson from New York City. He has been a Tucsonan for 1 year.
Maury retired from teaching apparel product knowledge and development at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He previously worked in apparel product development and international supply chain management.
Maury is enjoying gardening, but admits gardening in the desert has its own set of rules.
