This spring we joyfully welcome new members to our TVLC family. You can get to know them a little better here!
Jerry and Patty Spaniol
Jerry and Patty moved to Tucson in early 2021 from Titusville, Florida. They moved here to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren who moved here from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Jerry was a U of A graduate and retired last October from his career in Investment Advisory and Financial Planning practice. Patty retired from a career in Insurance Sales. Patty and Jerry love to travel and enjoy snow skiing.
Carlos and Cindy Ruiz
Cindy and Carlos moved here in 2004 from Tempe, Arizona. Carlos is a sixth-generation Tucson native, and Cindy is a third-generation Tucson native.
Carlos and Cindy opened their own manufacturing business twenty years ago that supplies custom-cut material to the Tucson, Phoenix, and Northern Mexico areas.
Stephanie, Jason, Maggie, and Addie Miller
Stephanie and Jason are Tucson natives. They have two daughters Maggie (8 years) and Addie (6 years). Stephanie is a Physical Therapist and works for Bayada Home Health. Jason is a Special Education teacher and works at Empire Highschool in Vail.
Jason, Stephanie, and their girls love to watch and cheer for all U of A sports and the Chicago Cubs. Maggie sings in the Tucson Girls Chorus and enjoys being a part of her brownie troop. Addie enjoys sports and started golf this year.
Jim Holmes
Jim retired 3 months ago to Tucson. He lived in Columbus, Ohio, Issaquah, Washington, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Phoenix, Arizona previously.
Jim worked for the Treasurer of Franklin County in Columbus, Ohio. He enjoys hiking, reading, and exercising.
Beth Martin
Beth moved to Tucson in 1968. She has three children. She and her husband moved to Tucson because her daughter needed the dry warm climate for her health.
Beth worked as an RN and RE Broker before retiring. She enjoys going to her Club for exercise and studying genealogy.
Sandy Ward
Sandy moved to Tucson in 1993. She came here as a travel Nurse. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to being a nurse, Sandy also owns her own small business.
Sandy enjoys hiking, reading, and plants.
Jennie Bohnart
Jennie grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Tucson 4 years ago from Colorado Springs. She has lived in many states anywhere from north Dakota to as south as Florida. She worked in Mental and Behavioral Health.
Jennie moved to Tucson for her family. This is the first time her mother and three sisters have all lived in the same state in 20 years. Jennie enjoys horticulture, nature, interior design, and music.
Judy Bemis
Judy retired in 2021 and moved to Tucson to be with her three daughters and three grandchildren. She has lived in Virginia, New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
Sherrylyn Young and Lyle Aldridge
Sherrylyn and Lyle have lived in Tucson for over 40 years. Lyle grew up in Washington and Sherrylyn grew up in California.
Lyle is a retired Attorney and Sherrylyn is a retired OB-GYN. Lyle enjoys playing golf and Sherrylyn enjoys tap dancing.
Jessica Heise
Jessica moved to Tucson 23 years ago from South Dakota. She graduated from Northern Arizona University. She has a daughter and son as well as three stepchildren.
Jessica works in an optical shop where she pre-tests patients before they see the eye doctor as well as helps patients pick out frames and lenses to order. She enjoys hiking, biking, sewing, and volunteer work.
Laura, Matt and Noah Louzensky
Laura and Matt are Tucson natives. They have a son Noah who is 9. Laura is an aesthetician and business owner. Matt works for Banner Health in Security.
Noah is very involved in sports and is in his baseball season right now. They have two german shepherds who keep them very busy as well.
Joy Shawn, Patrick and Luke Coffee
Shawn and Joy moved here in 2016 from Dallas, Texas. Patrick and Luke are currently in fourth and second grades within the Vail School District. Joy is a substitute teacher and Shawn is a materials engineer at Raytheon.
Shawn, Joy, and the boys love to travel and learn new things. At this time Luke is involved in Karate and cub scouts while Patrick is absorbed in music.
Linda Edlund
Linda moved in September of 2022 from Easton, Illinois. Her and her husband moved to Tucson for a new adventure and to escape northern winters. She is a retired RN and in her last job she worked in senior living.
Linda enjoys reading, travel, outdoors, arts and social justice.
