You are invited to attend one or more of the Grand Canyon Synod’s Spring Gatherings. These meetings will be on Zoom and will provide an opportunity to hear about and discuss our synod’s past and future as we move through a year unlike any other.
The meeting schedule follows:
Saturday, February 2, from 9am to 10:30am
Tuesday, February 9, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Tuesday, February 16, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Topics to be discussed at each Gathering include the ongoing reorganization of ELCA Churchwide, the Grand Canyon Synod’s plan to conduct a $500,000 fundraising appeal, the online 2021 Grand Canyon Synod assembly, the 2022 Churchwide Assembly in Ohio, and a discussion of the Grand Canyon Synod’s goals on diversity and inclusivity.
