Faith 101

Are you new to TVLC and would like to learn what is unique about being a Lutheran? Are you a lifelong Lutheran who would like to revisit the tenets of your faith?

TVLC is offering an eight-week course on the elements of our faith using Luther’s Small Catechism. We will be looking at and discussing the 10 Commandments, the Apostle’s Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, baptism and confession, and Holy Communion, as well as the “why” of our worship service and how you can bring your faith to your daily life. We will be using the book By Heart: Conversations with Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. The class will be held in the NFLC Café on Sundays from 10:30 AM  to 11:30 PM, January 19 – March 9. There will be a Reaffirmation of Baptism at the end of the course.

Course Book – By Heart: Conversations with Martin Luther’s Small Catechism is $20. Books are available
through Sherri in the Church Office, Kim or Carol.
