Bible Study for Women
Pastor Amy leads the Bible Study for Women that meets Mondays, 1-2:30pm, in Linder Hall. Class will not be held May 13. May 20 will be that last class of the spring session. The study will resume in the fall.
We are currently looking at overarching themes of the Bible using videos from the BibleProject. We will move into a study of the “Shema,” a famous Hebrew prayer found in Deuteronomy 6:4-5. As we learn about how this prayer was meaningful to ancient Hebrew people and how it is connected to the whole Christian story, we will meditate on these ancient words and what it means to love and serve God “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”
