TVLC is filled with remarkable people. Because of the number and size of our services, we often miss out on meeting folks or having the opportunity to get to know them. Today we’ll meet Marge & Norton Johnson.
About you?
Norton grew up in Bismarck, ND, and graduated from North Dakota State. Norton worked as a technical writer and worked for Honeywell before starting his own business in Minnesota.
Marge grew up in Cleveland, OH. She attended college in Philadelphia and earned her degree in Minneapolis. Marge earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul while working for a health care system.
Marge and Norton met in Minneapolis and married in 1973. They sold their house in 2001 and explored the United States and Canada. They discovered Tucson and moved here in 2004.
In Tucson, Marge worked for Pima College at the Federal Prison complex for 10 years. Marge describes her work as “the most meaningful work I have ever done.”
Hobbies?
Norton and Marge love to bike, walk and camp.
Favorite TVLC memories?
Marge and Norton participate in the Bible Study on Wednesday evenings. Currently, Norton serves on the Board of Lutheran Campus Ministry at UArizona and Marge serves on the Congregation Council.
