Household Blessings assisted 7 local charities in August due to your generosity and the hard work of the Household Blessings team. Take a look at how your donations have been used to help others in our community. Click on the ministry partners’ names to learn more about the agencies.

Casa Maria Soup Kitchen
Casa Maria workers are devoted to feeding and clothing those in need and working for liberty, social justice, and peace. Seven large bags of men’s and women’s clothes plus hygiene products and first aid items were delivered by Household Blessings.

Compass Affordable Housing
Compass Affordable Housing works to provide low-cost housing and support services. Household Blessings provided a recliner, side tables, kitchen chairs, lamps, a TV and VCR, towels, bedding and a vacuum cleaner.

DKA
The mission of DKA is to help people become employable and employed. Household Blessings supplied men’s suits, shirts, shoes, belts, a bassinet, lamps, TV set, end tables, dishes, pots and pans, towels, sheets and other household supplies.

Eagles Wings of Grace
The mission of Eagle Wings of Grace is to help women in transition to achieve financial independence. Household Blessings donated interview clothes, shoes, and household items.

More Than A Bed
More Than a Bed provides essential items to foster, kinship and adoptive families. Household Blessings supplied backpacks, a car seat, toys, and towel sets. A client also received a rocking chair, kitchen supplies, small appliances, bedding and towels, and children’s clothing.

Sister Jose Women’s Center
Sister Jose Women’s Center is dedicated to the care and nurture of homeless women to help them move out of homelessness. Household Blessings provided pants, shorts, tee shirts and tops, sweatshirts, shoes, underwear, hats, and canned food.

Women Warriors
Women Warriors works to support female veterans’ well-being and to eradicate financial and housing insecurity. Household Blessings delivered clothing for interviews and jobs, a sewing machine, dishes, silverware, and small tables.
