Who ya gonna call? Household Blessings!
When you’re replacing, downsizing, or cleaning out your cupboards and closets and you know the items could be given with dignity to another family, you call Household Blessings!
Household Blessings is our newest ministry and will provide a valuable resource to our community. The group will be working with ministry partners to supply New Home Starter Kits — the necessary items to set up a home. Requested items include kitchen items, linens, furniture, and clothing — all in clean, usable or wearable condition.
Ministry partners include Pima County Community Services, Casa Maria Soup Kitchen, Eagles Wings of Grace, Sister José Women’s Center, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, TVLC Refugee Ministry, Women Warriors and Care Portal.
Starting in March, items will be collected once each month before and after Saturday and Sunday services at the storage garage in the northern gravel parking lot. You can also call Donna or Mari with requests for drop-offs or pickups at other times. Items will not be collected or stored in the church office or at other locations on campus.
