We welcome several new families to our TVLC family!
Dale and Becky Clowers and Wesley
Dale, Becky and Wesley moved from Austin, TX to Tucson and have lived in Vail for two years. Their son, Wesley, is a freshman at Mica Mountain High School.
Becky is a massage therapist, substitute teacher, musician, singer and social butterfly. Dale is an I/T specialist, musician, nature enthusiast, and bicyclist.
Together the family likes to hike, swim, play music, sing, and garden.
Rev. George and Rev. Carol Karres
George and Carol have four grown children. George and Carol are both retired ELCA clergy. George’s last call was Director for Evangelical Mission for the Montana Synod. Carol served in rural congregations and as an interim pastor in Montana. George now drives a school bus for the Tanque Verde School District.
They enjoy travel, reading, choral music and local drama productions. Carol also enjoys arts and crafts, on-line classes and small group facilitation.
Eileen and Harry Monahan
Eileen and Harry moved from Las Cruces, New Mexico to Tucson in June 2020. They retired from the investment business in Minneapolis, MN.
Eileen and Harry enjoy hiking, golf, travel, line dancing, cooking, reading and playing the piano.
Georganna and James Wooten
Georganna and James have one grown son, Stewart, who is married with one son, Jetzon. Georganna has lived in Tucson off and on since birth.
Georganna is a retired dental hygienist and school administrator. The family loves horses and hunting.
Hashem Zarei & Masoumeh Nouri and Negar Zarei
Hashem and his wife Masoumeh recently moved to Tucson to be with their daughter Negar, who is working on her doctorate in computer engineering from the University of Arizona. The family comes from Iran where Hashem worked as a computer engineer and Masoumeh as a librarian.
Hashem enjoys spending time outside, being with his kids, and eating good food. Masoumeh also enjoys being outside in addition to reading books and watching movies. Negar enjoys dancing especially Persian dance, exercise, and yoga. Hashem and Masoumeh also have a younger daughter, Nazanin, who studies at New Mexico St. in Las Cruces.
