Our TVLC Refugee Ministry team works as co-sponsors with Lutheran Social Ministries of the Southwest (LSS-SW) to welcome refugees, set-up their apartments, and help them be comfortable in their new community. They are the “first friends” to newly arrived refugees.

Can you help by joining the welcome team or donating any of the following items?

    • Monetary donations (Checks payable to TVLC and directed to the

Village Fund

    • Help finding apartments

 

    • Gently used items to furnish apartments

      • Twin, full, or queen bed frames and bedding (No used pillows or mattresses)

 

      • Arm chairs

 

      • Coffee tables

 

      • Lamps

 

      • Televisions

 

      • Kitchen table and chairs

 

      • Microwaves

 

      • Dishes and silverware

 

      • Pots and pans
