Harrison Rietz and Nicholas Moffett will affirm their baptisms this Sunday at the 9:15am service. These students have completed their confirmation programs and will take another step in their lifelong faith journey.

Harrison Rietz is in the 8th grade at Emily Gray Junior High School. His favorite subject is math and his favorite hobbies are baseball, golf, and video games. This summer, Harrison plans to go to San Diego and Iowa with his family.

After high school, Harrison would like to pursue law enforcement or go into sales, like his dad.

The favorite bible verse of Harrison is Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Harrison likes the reminder that God is always with him.

Harrison is the son of Luke and Jamie Rietz, and has one sister, Lauren, and 2 dogs and 1 cat.

Nicholas Moffett in the 8th grade at Gridley Middle School. His favorite subject is guitar and his favorite hobbies are baseball, guitar, and running. Nicholas is the city champion in the mile, 800 meter, and 4×400 meter relay. This summer Nicholas will compete in All-Star baseball and will visit an aunt and uncle in Minnesota.

Nicholas would love to play baseball in college and the Major League. His back-up plan is to study law and become a lawyer.

The favorite bible verse of Nicholas is Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Nicholas believes it reminds him to put God and his promises first.

Nicholas is the son of Michael and Sarah Moffett, and has one brother, Drew, who is in the 5th grade.
